Health insurance rises along with wages
The 15 percent increase in health insurance for Renville City employees has led to a five percent increase in wages to compensate. The city currently pays the entire premium for single coverage, but family coverage will increase from $977 to $1,129. In other business, a list of streets which still need flushing of sewers is listed in this week's issue of the Register. City Administrator Paul McLaughlin said there could be some disruption because of blowback into the drains of homeowners. By Susan Williams
